Laax Open 2025

Considered the premier snowboarding event in Europe for the 2024-2025 winter games season, the Laax Open will be held in Laax, Switzerland, from January 14-18, 2025.The competition will include slopestyle and halfpipe contests for top male and female athletes. Live commentary for the halfpipe snowboarding events will be hosted by The Bomb Hole, featuring Chris Grenier.

Freeride World Tour 2025

The Freeride World Tour (FWT) commenced with the Baqueira Beret Pro by Movistar in La Val d’Aran, Spain. The event took place on the new face of La Bamba, known for its technical challenges due to steep slopes and variable snow conditions. Notable winners included Ross Tester in Men’s Ski, Noémie Equy in Women’s Snowboard, Victor de Le Rue in Men’s Snowboard, and Justine Dufour-Lapointe in Women’s Ski. The tour now moves to Val Thorens, France.

Jibba Jabba 2025 Pro Snowboard Event

Scheduled for February 15, 2025, the Jibba Jabba Rail Jam returns to Huron Street in downtown Houghton, USA. This event is a highlight for freestyle snowboarders, featuring a dynamic urban setup that challenges participants’ creativity and technical skills.

2025 Winter World University Games

The 2025 Winter World University Games will be held in Turin, Italy, from January 12 to 22, 2025.
